Its rich, colourful and massive scale can be felt even without the opera going on. The 1,441-room Rococo palace is one of the most important architectural, cultural, and historic monuments in the country. Long walk almost a trek and you reach the top of the hill for a panoramic view of the Schönbrunn Palace and Vienna itself. Whether its on the street by a passionate artist who keeps audience enchanted for hours or free street screenings of opera and ballet at Rathaus.
